Mattie Kaczlowicz is an ordinary man facing impossible choices.
Plonsk, Poland, 1942, and Mattie Kaczlowiczs life is about to change forever. When the Nazis deport his beloved wife to an unknown work camp in the East, his heart is shattered. In his struggle to survive, the lines between right and wrong become blurred, and he is powerless to do anything except fight to stay alive.
